Now available in store and online at Atlas is the Pepe Martinez tribute deck featuring photographs by Pete Thompson.

Pepe Martinez (RIP) was a pivotal skateboarder in the early 90’s that helped fuel the Washington DC / east coast skate scene. His style was super unique, and his bag of tricks was deep, but what most skaters remember about Pep was his quiet, humble personality and sense of humor. Pep passed in 2003 but he’s remembered by everyone who was fortunate to cross paths with him.

The images on this tribute deck were all shot at Pulaksi (Freedom Plaza) two of which appear in Pete Thompson’s book “93 til”.

This limited run of 300 hand-signed and numbered decks were created with the blessing of Pep’s family. A portion of the proceeds will be passed on to them.
