The collaborative 480 by our friends at No-Comply honors the roots of the “outlaw country” genre, which was born in Austin during the early 1970s. The pioneers of this distinct style wanted to break free from the constraints of the “Nashville sound” and have more creative freedom as artists. With this new found creativity, Austin then became the hub of this new musical and cultural movement. Concert venues were regularly packed with hippies and cowboys alike that had come together peacefully for the sake of quality music.
