Now available in store and online is our latest collaboration with Vancouver B.C. based artist Mark Johnsen. The collaboration features two skateboard decks with Mark’s art and are available in limited quantities.

Mark’s print-centric practice builds upon his fascination with natural elements, urban development, and the monotype printmaking process. Through material exploration, chance, and iteration, Mark works to capture unique impressions of personal significance.

For this project, Mark drew inspiration from his time growing up amongst the Eastern Sierra Mountain range in California and his recent move to the Pacific Northwest. This two deck series with Atlas incorporates collaged and re-assembled geological forms present in each region, blending process and personal memory.
