Brian Lotti For Atlas

Brian Lotti is an American artist currently living and working in Los Angeles, California. He skateboarded professionally for a few years and was featured in iconic skateboard films such as H-Street’s Hokus Pokus and Shackle Me Not. In addition, Brian is also credited with inventing the “Bigspin” and a few other maneuvers before beginning to study painting and drawing. Brian graduated with a BA in Art from San Francisco State University in 1998, then moved to Northern California where he practiced landscape and portrait painting for several years. In 2004, Brian returned to Southern California to direct two motion pictures about skateboarding, 1st and Hope, and Free Pegasus. Currently, Brian is working on landscape and portrait paintings in and around his home neighborhood of Echo Park.
